（路透首爾11日電）南韓保建福祉部今天通報新增14起中東呼吸症候群冠狀病毒（MERS-CoV）病例，這波致命疫情迫使南韓中央銀行今天降息。

民眾對南韓MERS疫情的擔憂，反映在亞洲地區各地，香港檢驗數十起疑似病例，所幸無人證實染病，並取消數千趟南韓旅遊行程。

南韓累計122例確診病例與9例死亡病例，這波疫情為沙烏地阿拉伯以外規模最大，是從上個月開始蔓延開來，當時一名68歲的南韓商人自中東返國，將MERS帶進南韓。

南韓中央銀行表示必須採取行動，將政策利率調降25個基點至1.50%，創下紀錄新低。中央社（翻譯）
